The University of Melbourne's Orientation Week, or O-Week, takes place in the week prior to the commencement of classes. During this week there are a number of events and activities to assist new students in
It is highly recommended that students who are new to the Graduate Environmental Program (GEP), including the Master of Environment, Graduate Certificate in Environment and Graduate Diploma in Environment, attend the following sessions during Orientations Week:
Faculty of Science: Graduate Welcome
The Office for Environmental Programs (OEP) falls under the Faculty of Science. The vast majority of GEP students will undertake at least one Faculty of Science subject outside of the OEP. Attendance at the the Faculty of Science Graduate Welcome event is strongly recommended to get an overview of the services available to students.
Master of Environment Orientation
This orientation session provides an overview of the GEP. You will hear from the Director, academics and staff from the OEP team, as well as students who are currently studying the program.
Graduate Environmental Program Networking Lunch
New students have the opportunity to talk further with staff and current students from the OEP, as well as specialisation (stream) coordinators, in an informal setting.
