The University of Melbourne's Orientation Week, or O-Week, takes place in the week prior to the commencement of classes. During this week there are a number of events and activities to assist new students in getting familiar with studying at the University of Melbourne.

It is highly recommended that students who are new to the Office for Environmental Programs (OEP), including the Master of Environment, Graduate Certificate in Environment and Graduate Diploma in Environment, attend the following sessions which will be taking place on Monday 25th February:

Faculty of Science: Graduate Welcome

Monday 25th February
9:30am - 10:30am
Basement Theatre, Melbourne School of Design

The Office for Environmental Programs (OEP) falls under the Faculty of Science. The vast majority of GEP students will undertake at least one Faculty of Science subject outside of the OEP. Attendance at the Faculty of Science Graduate Welcome event is strongly recommended to get an overview of the services available to students.

This will be followed by a Graduate Expo in the Melbourne School of Design Basement Foyer from 10:30am - 11:30am.

Master of Environment Orientation

Monday 25th February
11.30am -12.45pm
Malaysian Theatre, Melbourne School of Design

This orientation session provides an overview of the OEP. You will hear from the Director, academics and staff from the OEP team, as well as current students and alumni of the program.

Graduate Environmental Program Networking Lunch

Monday 25th February
Terrace Lounge, Walter Boas Building 163

New students have the opportunity to talk further with staff and current students from the OEP, as well as specialisation (stream) coordinators, in an informal setting.
