Scholarships and Awards available to current students:

The Rosemary and Chris Lester Award

CATEGORY: Master of Environment, Graduate Diploma in Environment.

CONDITIONS: Available to full-time students undertaking graduate environmental studies through the Office for Environmental Programs (MC-ENV and GD-ENV).

SELECTION CRITERIA AND PROCESS:

  1. Students must be enrolled or enrolling in the Graduate Diploma in Environment or Master of Environment;
  2. Student must be an Australian citizen;
  3. Students will be selected on academic merit;
  4. Preference will be given to, in order: (a) students from regional or remote areas of Victoria; (b) students of Australian Indigenous descent; and (c) students experiencing immediate disadvantaged circumstances.

VALUE: $2500

TENURE: 1 Year

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

  1. Payments are conditional on students maintaining a minimum enrolment in their degree of at least 37.5 credit points (three standard subjects) per semester.

To be considered, students need to have completed a Student Financial Assessment form within 6 months prior to the application closing date. All OEP students that have completed this form in the previous 6 months will be considered.  Please note that you need to be admitted into the course to fill in this form.

The Professor John Lovering Graduate Environmental Program Scholarship

CATEGORY: Master of Environment, Graduate Diploma in Environment.

CONDITIONS: Available to students undertaking graduate environmental studies through the Office for Environmental Programs (MC-ENV and GD-ENV).

SELECTION CRITERIA AND PROCESS:

  1. Students must be enrolled or enrolling in the Graduate Diploma in Environment or Master of Environment;
  2. Selection will be based on academic performance and financial need;
  3. The Selection Committee will review academic success as well as leadership accomplishments and potential.

VALUE: $1000

TENURE: 1 Year
