Single Subject Study (CAP)
Community Access Program (CAP) provides you with an opportunity to explore an area of interest by taking a subject or subjects before making a commitment to a longer program, a chance to advance your career or to add to your academic record.
Students studying in the Community Access Program attend the same classes as degree students at the Parkville campus, and enjoy borrowing rights at the University libraries.
The assessed mode of CAP study grades you on your studies and you receive an official transcript of results. Undertaking an assessed CAP subject means you are expected to attend all lectures, tutorials and practical classes, and complete all set assessment tasks, including relevant examinations. Fees for CAP subjects are paid up
The available subjects for CAP study through the Office for Environmental Programs are:
- MULT90004 Sustainability, Governance and Leadership
- MULT90005 Interdisciplinarity and the Environment
- ENST90032 Sustainability and Behaviour Change
- ENST90019 Consumerism and the Growth Economy

Eligibility for these subjects is assessed by the OEP selection committee.
